Washington, Apr 10, (THAINDIAN NEWS) NASA’s Cassini might be the answer to the never solved before mystery of the Saturn rings. The six years of exploration by the spacecraft has finally brought in good news for all researchers and scientists who have been actively researching upon the subject for years. As a matter of fact, Cassini, which happens to be one of the revolutionary spacecrafts developed by NASA operates on robotics which has been exploring the Saturn rings. Based on the observations that are being collected by the spacecraft, NASA says that they shall now be in a much better position to reveal the detailing of Saturn rings which have been an unsolved mystery for so long.
The existence of the Saturn rings first came to light when legendary scientist Galileo spotted it through his telescope way back in the year 1610 when people had negligible idea about the universe or the solar system. Saturn Rings and its mystery had been haunting all astronomers and scientists alike with no satisfactory clues to unravel the mystery.
What do the rings contain? How old are they? How come they exist so firmly upon the planet when it’s moving? These are a few facts which have been in the discussion since Cassini started off its six years exploration. Reportedly, interdisciplinary scientist for rings and dust, Jeff Cuzzi is one of the chief brains behind Cassini and he feels that it time that Saturn rings and their truths be explored for a better analysis of the solar system. Cassini spacecraft is still in its mission and is reported to be performing huge exploration tasks that would help the researchers to unravel the truth of the planet.
