Russian Scientists Warn Of Massive Asteroid Hitting The Earth

Jan.02, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The news of a giant asteroid hitting the earth has created a sensation among the astronomers and scientists. The discovery has been made by the astronomers working in the biggest observatory of Russia. According to them, the asteroid that may collide with Earth is revolving round the sun in an orbit. However, they feel that the real threat level is difficult to gauge now. They will be able to estimate its power around 2028, when it moves closer to Earth. The scientists feel that when the asteroid will come closer to our planet, its orbit can be changed and this may lead to a collision. If it does happen in 2035, the future of mankind and other forms of life will be at dire risk.
The asteroid, which is said to have the diameter of 1 km, can spell disaster and trigger massive natural calamities like tsunamis and earthquakes. It can also spur significant changes in the climate. In case it hits the Oceans, the consequence will be terrible. The Russian space agency is busy chalking out a plan to save the planet from an impending disaster. The asteroid was spotted for the first time in 2004. Nuclear explosion does not seem to be a viable choice. However, the chances of its colliding with the Earth are deemed to be slim, by some others including NASA.
Taking up such a project means getting approval from other countries and a massive cost. It will take some more years to calculate its chances of collision but an effective asteroid deflection system will go a long way in securing the future of our planet.

John, a diciple of Christ, gave a vivid description of what is most likely an astroid hitting earth, and the resulting devastation afterwards. You can find this in Revelation chapter 8. This was written over 1,900 years ago.

what if we are schedule for a reaping f the souls gentle folks. we (ordinary folks) are sitting ducks. If we fail to seek knowledge then we are no better than the sheep and cows and deserve whatever “slaughter” comes our way. Or would we rather eat cookies until the end! Remember the story of Noah! as i was reading this i couldnt help but notice that only the russians are trying to do anything about it? there is a reason why their isnt a whole lot of life out there. if we sit here and continue to be ignorant and primative in our thinking and act like nothing like that can possibly happen then our fate is already sealed.
