Research on rats confirms that coffee & aspirin are the best hangover cures

The research was carried out by Professor Michael Oshinsky, of Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia on rats. Oshinsky induced hangover headaches in the rats by pumping some alcohol into their system.
With that done, Oshinsky then administered some doses of anti-inflammatory medicines with caffeine. He found later that the caffeine and the anti-inflammatory drugs blocked that acetate that caused the headache and effectively stopped the headaches in the rats.
He published his findings in the journal, New Scientist. Oshinsky concluded that administering caffeine with anti-inflammatory drugs is the best way to treat hangover.
Oshinsky’s test also revealed that the rats did not show any sign of dehydration. It has often been argued that using aspirin and coffee to treat hangover was dangerous because it could result in hangover.
Many have previously believed that coffee and aspirin cure hangover but on whether it was the best cure had been an argument for a very long time. There are other popular ways in curing hangovers like drinking plenty of water in the morning after heavy drinking.
