Nov. 29, (THAINDIAN NEWS) These days, people are searching for the videos and images of the ‘Northern Lights’, after Cassini has captured the tallest ‘northern lights’ known to human beings. According the reports of the sources, the ‘northern lights’ that have been captured by Cassini is considered the tallest of all the ‘northern lights’ of the solar system. It has been also stated by the sources that the light was extremely bright and has a flickering shape.
The videos that has been captured by Cassini reveals that the aurora of Saturn gets reflected after an interval of few minutes. These videos also showed that all the lights have three dimensions and high resolution, which makes them even more spectacular. Sources stated that the video coverage of Cassini also pointed out some profiles to aurora, which people have never seen before. The vertical profiles in the video appeared like tall curtains and sources stated that these curtain like objects could stretch up to 750 miles above Saturn’s northern hemisphere’s edge.
The new videos captured by Cassini is also expected to help the scientists get a better idea of the auroras. These auroras is not restricted to Saturn and occurs on Jupiter, Earth as well as some other planets and the new profile that has been reveled in this video is expected to give the scientific researches a new turn. California Institute of Technology’s Andrew Ingersoll said, “The auroras have put on a dazzling show, shape-shifting rapidly and exposing curtains that we suspected were there, but hadn’t seen on Saturn before”. He also added that as they have now seen them on Saturn, they will be able to have a much clear concept of how they appear on Earth.
