NORAD Santa Tracker 2009Dec.24, (THAINDIAN NEWS) As the festivities of Christmas are about to commence and the world prepares to gear up for the festivities, every body is eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa Claus along with his reindeers. However if the wait seems to long for you, then you could easily take note of the exact location of Santa Claus by using the Norad Santa Tracker, which gives an idea of where Santa is presently in his journey.

The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) uses it high power device to track specific location of Santa and netizens can get information regarding the current location of Father Christmas by logging into the NORAD website. All that one needs to do to keep a track of Santa’s position is install Google Earth and that would allow the netizens to be a part of the amazing journey of Santa Claus. Norad has an extensive tracking system comprising of satellites, cameras, radar and fighter jets, which detects any change in position of the charming old man.

However, this is not the first time that NORAD has come up with such an innovation to add on to the festivities- as it has been keeping a tab on Santa supposedly for the past 50 years. Moreover, the online portal has a variety of other attractions such as stories and photos of Santa Claus, that has become hugely popular over the years especially among the children. Meanwhile, NORAD has been providing the unique opportunity to the netizens since the year 2007, after it signed an agreement with the search engine Google.
