New York, Jun 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Research at eBay suggests that ‘mini skirt meteorology’ can be used to predict the weather in advance. The results of the research suggested that the weather could be accurately predicted by the increase and the decrease in the skirt’s length. Analysts who did the research said that they could predict the advance weather, based just on the hemlines of the skirts, that were being sold on the website eBay.

The analysts also added that they could predict a trend in the changing weather much before the Met office, who were using the traditional and the tried and tested methods to predict the weather. Analysts said that recently just before the weather turned hotter, the short skirts saw a huge demand on the website. Their sale rose by a whooping 200% and after a few days, the weather also became hotter.

According to Daily Mail, Ruth Szyszkowski who is a personnel of eBay, said that, “We’re calling it mini skirt meteorology. If you want to know what the weather is going to be like in three days, just take a look at hemlines.”
