Luminous Power forays into automotive batteries segment
May 4th, 2011 - 7:51 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi May 4 (IANS) Luminous Power Technologies Wednesday said that it has entered the automotive and motorcycle batteries segment with the launch of Luminous Electra and Start automotive batteries and Racer range of motorcycle batteries.
While Electra and Start are designed to deliver high-performances on Indian and international makes, the strength of Electra lies in the fusion of European technology and Indian engineering, the company said.
The Racer range has been designed taking into consideration the latest motorcycle requirements and are compatible with most of the popular models. They are built to withstand the rigors of the tough Indian terrain without compromising with the quality and performance.
“The Indian consumer is always looking for value for money products and so without compromising with the quality and performance, we still provide easy-on-pocket products to our customers,” said Rakesh Malhotra, founder and chief executive officer, Luminous Power Technologies.
“Our latest ranges of automotive batteries have been manufactured using state-of-the-art technology and are completely maintenance-free,” he added.
The batteries ensure power conservation, immediate start and high corrosion resistance, the company said.
