Komodo Dragon’s Life To Be Shown On New Discovery Docu-Series

komodo-dragon-attack-buffaloMar 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Starting from tonight, Discovery Network will show a series of documentary covering some of the exquisite species of the world which has been named ‘Life’. It follows the widely successful ‘Planet Earth’ docu series. The series will have the narration by legendary Oprah Winfrey and the series will comprise of 11 shows featuring different animal species. The viewers will get to witness the amazing facts about their life cycle and survival. It is being co-produced by Discovery network and BBC. The first episode of the series will focus on the reptile species known as Komodo dragons.

The channel will show how the Komodo dragons, a fierce reptile species, hunts and traps its preys. The Komodo dragon is around 5 feet long and it is powerful enough to kill the animals bigger than its size. In the starting episode, a batch of dragons gradually kill a water buffalo. The dragons use their fatal poison to kill the preys. The episodes in the series “Life” has been shot in such a way that the viewers will be able to see the animals hunting and doing other activities from really close angles. The series will cover species like the birds, amphibians and plants as well.

Discovery has focused on the details of the visuals while preparing this docu-series and the narration part is engaging but minimal. The wildlife lovers can expect a lot from the series and the network has tried to make a foray into previously unexplored areas of marine and wildlife and bring in front the viewers like has never been done before.
