tut Cairo, Feb 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Latest forensic research indicates that King Tut had a clubfoot and due to this shortcoming, he had lots of difficulty in walking, and had to take the help of a cane. It has also been determined that he died from malaria. These secrets were revealed during a study that used the latest genetic testing tools and computer technology.

A team of researchers from Egypt, Italy and Germany took the help of DNA testing to make a family tree for King Tut. They also used the latest CT scans to come to the conclusion that King Tut and his ancestors had feminine physiques.

The scientific research team took the DNA from 11 mummies, which included King Tut himself. “Many scholars have hypothesized that Tutankhamen’s death was attributable to an accident, such as a fall from his chariot or a kick by a horse or other animal; septicemia or fat embolism secondary to a femur fracture; murder by a blow to the back of the head; or poisoning,” the study revealed. It was determined during genetic testing that King Tut was inflected with plasmodium falciparum, which is the parasite that causes a very severe form of malaria, which can be fatal also.
