Iran to build one more n-plant
August 16th, 2010 - 10:11 pm ICT by IANSTehran, Aug 16 (IANS) Iran will build a nuclear enrichment plant in 2011, Iranian state-run Press TV reported Monday.
Studies to find sites to set up 10 other plants have concluded, head of Atomic Energy Organisation of Iran (AEOI) Ali Akbar Salehi said.
The Natanz plant is already enriching uranium to a level of 20 percent and another facility near Qom is under construction, the report said.
Western powers have accused Iran of developing nuclear weapons. Tehran denied the charges, saying its nuclear technology is for generating civilian nuclear power.
