Mumbai, Feb 19 (IANS) Infosys Technologies Ltd, India’s leading software exporter, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Japan-based Nihon Unisys to form an alliance of strategic business deployment and joint development for sales and solutions services. The alliance will explore mutually beneficial areas where the global delivery model can be leveraged to jointly go to the market, Infosys said in a statement.
They would focus on areas such as joint solution, product development and application development maintenance.
According to the agreement, Infosys will provide solutions to Nihon’s existing customers in Japan and explore options of expanding its business in Japanese market by combining products of both companies.
Earlier in 2007, Infosys had a partnership with Nihon Unisys to execute large-scale system upgrades of Oracle E-Business Suite for the Japanese company’s customers.
