HCL tech hub near Gurgaon opens Friday
November 8th, 2010 - 7:11 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Nov 8 (IANS) A new HCL technology hub will start functioning in Manesar near Gurgaon in Haryana from Friday (Nov 12), a state government official said here Monday.
An official spokesman of the Haryana government said the Manesar HCL Tech Hub, housed in 900,000 square-feet of eco-friendly buildings, would employ over 3,200 people and generate Rs.10 billion (1,000 crore) in export revenue.
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda will inaugurate the new facility in Manesar in the presence of Union Human Resource Development Minister Kapil Sibal.
HCL had set up a technology hub in Noida in 2007. Its other hubs were also coming up in Bangalore and Chennai.
