Design moon rocket, win $65 mn
October 28th, 2010 - 10:32 am ICT by IANSMoscow, Oct 28 (IANS) Russia’s space agency Roscosmos is offering two billion rubles ($65 million) as an award for the best design of a moon-landing spaceship, a media report said.
Roscosmos announced an open tender Wednesday for the design of a manned system that would provide a permanent link between the earth and the moon. The tender will be open till 2015, Xinhua reported citing the RBC news agency.
The award will be paid from the Russian federal space programme funds.
