Arun Seth named chairman of Alcatel-Lucent in India
July 6th, 2011 - 7:49 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 6 (IANS) French telecom firm Alcatel-Lucent Wednesday said it has appointed telecom leader Arun Seth as chairman for its India operations.
Seth, who is the non-executive chairman of BT India, will continue in his current role as well. Before BT India, Seth held several senior leadership roles at the UB Group and HCL.
“Arun brings us over 30 years of diverse business experience. I look forward to his guidance in helping Alcatel-Lucent be a transformative player in the converging IT and the telecom industry in India,” said Rajeev Singh-Molares, president Alcatel-Lucent Asia-Pacific region.
Apart from his corporate roles, Seth holds advisory positions in National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) and The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI).
