Ancient Giant Penguins Dressed Casually, No Tux

Oct 1 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports from CBS news, an ancient giant penguin has been discovered which did not wear the typical formal attire which today’s penguins often go out in. These large animals from the past wore more of a motley brownish red and grey colored brindled suit.

The remains which were found showed that a “5-foot-tall penguin that roamed what is now Peru about 36 million years ago, and they also discovered fossilized feathers that show back then, the flightless bird was a more motley mix of reddish-brown and gray.”

The bird’s name, Inkayacu paracasensis, is much fancier than it’s attire, as a matter of fact. Itis one of the largest penguins which ever lived, and was estimated to weigh about twice as much as today’s Emperor Penguin (which of course wears the tuxedo…as an emperor should.)
