Rocket Launch June 6, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): A dazzling and strengthening light, deemed by astronomers to be a rocket, the launch of which was from Cape Canaveral, was observed in skies across Australia’s east shoreline. This was just prior to daylight on Saturday. This ignited UFO frenzy in Australia.

Some of the eyewitnesses referred to the light as a swirl resembling a lollypop. The cloud of light was spotted over Australia’s three easternmost provinces — New South Wales, Queensland and the Australian Capital Territory.

Canberra dweller, James Butcher, uttered to broadcaster ABC that the short-lived spectacle continued for around 2-3 minutes. Butcher mentioned that the light had a distinctive dazzling centre, much like a vivid star.

Other spectators equated the stunning occurrence with a massive gyrating moon with a swirl in the middle. It was akin to a lit up cloud journeying high and speedily above the horizon. The video recording of this fabulous occurrence has rapidly entered the Internet.

Astronomer Andrew Jacob, who is the stand-in curator of the Sydney Observatory, has asserted that it was most probable that SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket had emerged over Australia. SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket had been launched on Friday from Cape Canaveral shortly prior to daybreak.

The light was journeying the incorrect way for it to be an astronomical happening. Jacob asserted that he had discarded other likelihoods such as comets, a limelight on cloud or manifestation of the moon, or a meteor shower.
