Zardari donates blood

Islamabad, June 22 (IANS) President Asif Ali Zardari Tuesday donated blood during a nation-wide campaign to mark the 58th birth anniversary of former prime minister Benazir Bhutto.
Bhutto was assassinated Dec 27, 2007, after she addressed an election rally in Rawalpindi.
Associated Press of Pakistan reported that Zardari’s youngest daughter Aseefa Bhutto Zardari also donated blood.
In a message on the eve of Benazir Bhutto’s birth anniversary, Zardari urged the party workers to donate blood.
Blood collected from across the country would be distributed among the government hospitals and a large portion would be handed over to the armed forces.
