Sanaa, Sep 13 (IANS) Dozens of protestors were wounded Thursday morning in clashes with Yemeni security forces as the protestors stormed the US embassy in Sanaa.

Protestors set fire to a number of diplomatic vehicles as well as part of the building as security forces used water cannons and warning shots in a bid to drive them out, reported Xinhua.

Clashes erupted between protestors and Yemeni security forces inside and around the US embassy in Yemen’s capital Sanaa after hundreds of demonstrators stormed the embassy as part of widespread anger across the Muslim world over a US-made movie that insults Prophet Mohammed.
