Women’s quota bill moved, torn to shreds
March 8th, 2010 - 4:05 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, March 8 (IANS) The bill that promises to reserve 33 percent of legislative seats for women was moved in the Rajya Sabha Monday amid unruly scenes with MPs from the Samajwadi Party (SP), Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) and Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) tearing the document into shreds and hurling it at Chairman Hamid Ansari.
