Honolulu, Dec 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) A woman Kristy Lee Roshia who had threatened that she would ‘blow away’ the US First Lady Michelle Obama was arrested. She is now in federal custody, while the US President and his family are planning to visit Hawaii.

The 35-year-old Kristy Lee Roshia, was charged with threatening a family member of the president and assaulting a federal agent after being arrested Saturday. She was arrested quite close to the Kailua home where the Obama family planned to stay during a holiday visit later this week.

According to reports, Roshia called the Secret Service’s Boston office last month and told a receptionist, “I will kill Michelle Obama” and “I will kill Marines,” according to a Secret Service affidavit.

Kristy Lee Roshia was arrested on December 19 in Kaneohe, Hawaii, by the U.S. Secret Service after determining that she had made the threat to blow away the US First Lady, and that she also had information about where the Obama family would be staying during their visit, according to court documents filed this week. During an interview with agents on December 19, Kristy Roshia said she had gone to Hawaii in September to “protect Obama,” had been to the location where the presidential family would be staying and was working at the golf course at the Marine base, a Secret Service affidavit said.
