Will respond after studying 2G verdict: CVC
February 2nd, 2012 - 4:46 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )New Delhi, Feb 2 (IANS) Central Vigilance Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Thursday said it was premature to comment on the Supreme Court order directing the CBI to submit its status report on the 2G scam probe to the vigilance commission.
“We will have to study the judgment, what Supreme Court has ordered. The commission will study the judgment and give its response,” Kumar told a TV news channel here.
The Central Vigilance Commission (CVC), after examining the CBI report, would have to give its response to the Supreme Court in a sealed cover, the apex court said on a plea to set up a Special Investigation Team (SIT) for day-to-day monitoring of the 2G case.
