Bhopal, July 1 (IANS) Criticising the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for lavish spending on a function held to mark the launch of L.K. Advani’s autobiography’s Hindi edition, former Madhya Pradesh chief minister and Bharatiya Janshakti (BJS) president Uma Bharati Tuesday asked who paid for it. Sitting on a day-long fast at the busy Roshanpura square in the state capital against alleged corruption in the BJP-ruled government, Bharati told reporters that even the people sitting on high positions were neck-deep in corruption.
The Hindi edition of Advani’s autobiography was launched here Monday night.
