When Wen played basketball with kids
June 1st, 2011 - 4:19 pm ICT by IANSBeijing, June 1 (IANS) Premier Wen Jiabao has taken part in a basketball training session at a school, a media report said.
Shanghai Daily reported that Wen Jiabao played basketball during the training session with 37 Class 6 students at the Shibalidian Primary School here.
He asked the children to keep themselves fit by participating in sports and other physical activities.
Wen had promised March 8 that he would attend a physical education class with students. He made the pledge following a request by Yang Yang, a legislator and world short-track speed skating champion.
