electionsNov.4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Election results in different parts of the country are turning in favor of the Republican party. Bryan Kline [age 28 years], has become the first candidate of the Republican party to win the clerk-of-courts election in this region, stated sources. This is the first time that Byran Kline had contested for a public office and victory in this election will certainly boost his morale. According to the sources, Byran Kline served the Westmoreland Case Management as case manager of mental health. In an interview, Kline said, “I made history tonight. I got the message out, and voters were receptive to it”.

David Patterson, who is a veteran politician was the five-term incumbent to this office. He had served the office for two decades. The results of the election has been quite disappointing for the party as he has been defeated by newcomer Kline. As stated by the sources, 52 percent of the votes were cast in favor of Kline. Sources also stated that the opposition candidate had lost the election by very small margin and had received 48 percent votes. The political watchers had not expected that the Republican party would turn out winner in this election. They might have been astonished to see the results of the polls.

Republican candidates had done well in two seats. However, Penn Township, Republican commissioner, Michael Ginsburg had lost the election against Christina O’ Brien, the Democrat candidate.
