V.P. Singh is dead
November 27th, 2008 - 5:24 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Nov 27 (IANS) Former prime minister V.P. Singh died here Thursday after battling a kidney ailment for several years. He was 77.V.P. Singh, who was prime minister from December 1989 to November 1990, died at the capital’s Apollo Hospital.
He was born on June 25, 1931 in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh.
