Vote count starts in Jammu and Kashmir

Jammu, May 16 (IANS) Counting of votes cast for the Lok Sabha elections began amid heavy security in Jammu and Kashmir Saturday morning, poll officials said.
The counting began at 8 a.m. in seven centres across the state.

The staggered Lok Sabha polls were held in five phases between April 16 and May 13 in the state’s six constituencies - Jammu, Udhampur, Srinagar, Anantnag, Baramulla and Ladakh.
