Vijender Gupta is new Delhi BJP chief

New Delhi, May 14 (IANS) Vijender Gupta was Friday appointed as the chief of the Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) Delhi unit, the party said.
“BJP president Nitin Gadkari has nominated Vijender Gupta as the Delhi state president of the party,” a BJP statement said.
Gupta had unsuccessfully contested against Human Resources Development Minister Kapil Sibal from Chandni Chowk constituency in the 2009 Lok Sabha elections
