US President Barack Obama to host a reception for Manmohan Singh

Washington DC, Nov 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is on a four day state visit to the US, at the invitation of the US President Barack Obama. In his honor, the US President Obama is all set to host a reception for the Indian PM.
The US President and the First Lady Michelle Obama will welcome the Indian PM Manmohan Singh and his charming wife Mrs. Kaur to the White House. The ceremony which was earlier to be held at the South Lawn will now be held at The East Room at 9:15am EST (7:45pm IST).
Then both the leaders are expected to hold bilateral talks in the Oval House which will of course be out of the press’ reach. However their joint next event is open to the Press, which will be a joint news conference in the East Room at 11:35am EST (10:05pm IST).
And in the evening, the US President will host a state Dinner in their honor on the South Lawn.
