US First Lady Queried By A Little Girl Over The Litigious Issue Of Immigration
May 20th, 2010 - 9:53 pm ICT by Pen Men At WorkMay 20, 2010 (Pen Men at Work): America’s First Lady, Michelle Obama, encountered a tricky situation when a second grader from Maryland told her something. The little girl articulated to Michelle Obama that her mother had revealed to her that President Barack Obama was taking everybody away on not possessing the valid papers of immigration. The kid enunciated her worry about the fact that her mother might not possess the appropriate documents too.
Mrs. Obama was at an elementary school with her Mexican counterpart, Margarita Zavala, to promote a healthy diet. Michelle Obama revealed to the little girl that the American government will have to fix this controversial issue. Everybody has got to get together in Congress to make sure that that happens.
Executive director of America’s Voice, Frank Sharry, has articulated that the apprehensiveness of the little girl is legitimate as the Obama administration is on course this year to surpass the banishment levels of the Bush administration. He mentioned that this young girl has vocalized the mounting annoyance and anxiety in immigrant families and societies.
The politically charged immigration issue has been hovering above the Obama administration for some time. The Arizonian state’s somewhat draconian immigration law last month compelled the litigious immigration issue to enter the national dialogue. The somewhat severe Arizonian immigration law has placed pressure on the US President to take action in support of fuming pro-immigrant campaigners.
More recently, the Senate Majority Leader, Harry M. Reid, propelled all-inclusive immigration legislation onto the congressional schedule. This is a raging issue in his heavily Hispanic state.
