UPA meets to discuss presidential candidate

New Delhi, June 15 (IANS) The United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Friday met to decide on its nominee for the July 19 presidential poll. The meeting is being held at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s 7, Race Course Road residence.
UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi arrived a little earlier to discuss the issue of who would be the ruling alliance’s nominee for president with Manmohan Singh.
