Tsering re-elected Tibetan speaker
May 30th, 2011 - 9:38 pm ICT by IANSDharamsala, May 30 (IANS) Penpa Tsering was Monday again re-elected Speaker of the Tibetan parliament-in-exile here.
Khenpo Sonam Tenphel was elected the deputy speaker of the 15th Tibetan parliament-in-exile.
They would be administered the oath of office here Tuesday. The current Tibetan parliament has 44 members.
Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama is based in Dharamsala. India is also home to some 100,000 Tibetan exiles.
