Hyderabad, Dec 17 (IANS) Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) legislators Thursday staged a protest in front of Chief Minister K. Rosaiah’s office demanding the release of those arrested during protests seeking separate statehood for Telangana.
TRS leader E. Rajender and legislator Harish Rao staged a sit-in at the entrance to the office and raised slogans. Rosaiah promised them that the cases would be withdrawn.
Rajender alleged that despite assurance by the central government, the cases against Osmania University students and TRS workers had not been withdrawn.
