Trinamool to attend UPA meeting July 14
July 12th, 2012 - 2:09 am ICT by IANSKolkata, July 12 (IANS) Days before the crucial presidential polls which have generated much bad blood between alliance partners Congress and the Trinamool Congress, the latter would attend a meeting of the centre’s ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) in New Delhi July 14.
Railway Minister Mukul Roy will represent the Trinamool Congress at the meeting, said a party Rajya Sabha member.
“(Trinamool chief) Mamata Banjerjee has asked Roy to attend the meeting,” the Rajya Sabha member said.
