Top Presidential Adviser Alxeander Haig Hospitalized

Philadelphia, Feb 19 (THAINDIAN NEWS) According to reports, former secretary of state and top adviser to three presidents, ALexander Haig has been hospitalized in Baltimore, Maryland. He is currently at John Hopkins Hospital, in unknown condition as of 10 am EST. Although there are unconfirmed reports that Alexander Haig is in critical condition, the hospital is not confirming nor denying any of these reports. Hospital spokesperson Gary Stephenson explained to the press that the hospital simply cannot provide any information on Hiag’s condition. However, a hospital spokeswoman told BNO News that Alexander Haig has been hospitalized since January 28th. Haig is 85 years old.
Alexander Haig is a 4 star general. At one time, he even thought to perhaps one day become president himself, and was the top presidential adviser for three different presidents, Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon, and Ronald Reagan. He was Reagan’s U.S. Secretary of State, and served as White House Chief of Staff under Nixon and Ford. He was also Vice Chief of Staff in the Army, the second ranking officer of the U.S. Army. He also held the position of Supreme Allied Commander Europe, commanding all of the U.S. and NATO forces in Europe. As Nixon’s White House Chief of Staff, Haig helped him prepare his impeachment defense in the Watergate scandal, and made many decisions normally made by the president himself.
