In Hyderabad alone, the official, his wife and son own as many as 33 properties, including land in prime areas.
The searches at Gopalakrishna’s residence in posh Banjara Hills neighborhood here yielded cash of Rs.12.86 lakh and foreign currency, 1.18 kg of gold, designer jewellery, and 9.4 kg of silver. An official said $1,000 American in cash were also recovered.
