Telangana supporter found hanging in India Gate

New Delhi, July 20 (IANS) A 23-year-old supporter from Telangana, apparently frustrated over the delay in granting separate statehood to the region, was found hanging from a tree in India Gate Wednesday, police said.
Adi Reddy, who appeared to have committed suicide, belonged to Telangana region in Andhra Pradesh.
“We received the call around 7.30 a.m. and took the body to Ram Manohar Lohia hospital where he was declared brought dead. We recovered a 20 page suicide letter written in Telugu from the spot,” a police official said.
India Gate is a high security area close to the presidential palace Rashtrapati Bhavan and Parliament House.
