The Tea Party Express tour bus reached Nevada on Sunday where they held a rally. There were several speakers at the event and the agenda of the main speakers was “reclaiming America.”
Americans will head to the polls in 2012 in a decisive vote that will no doubt affect the country in every way imaginable. The Tea Party has grown in confidence since their surprise performance at the midterm election in 2010.
The rally attracted a crowd of about 75 people. Sharron Angle was among the major figures at the rally. She reportedly told the crowd that, “We have a voice. We need to use that voice.”
The communications director of the tour Levi Russell is happy at the outcome of the rally. During a chat with the press shortly after the rally, Levi said that, “It was a small crowd, but enthusiastic. We’re happy that they came out to hear our message.”
The tour will take the politicians to about 29 cities throughout the United States. The tour bus began the rounds on Saturday.
The Republicans are currently concentrating on getting a strong competitor against Obama.
