New Delhi, June 8 (IANS) Newly-elected Trinamool Congress MP and veteran Bengali actor Tapas Pal was once again admitted to a hospital here Monday after he “felt uneasy” in the Lok Sabha.
Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs V. Narayanasamy told IANS that the 49-year-old MP was admitted to the Ram Manohar Lohia Hospital “after he felt uneasy” in the Lok Sabha during discussion on the motion of thanks to the president’s address in parliament.
Pal was also admitted to the city’s Indraprastha Apollo Hospital Wednesday in an unconscious state and was kept in the intensive care unit.
A legislator twice, Tapas Pal was elected for the first time to the Lok Sabha from the Krishnanagar constituency in West Bengal.
