Speaker Somnath Chatterjee in hospital (Lead)

New Delhi, Nov 6 (IANS) Lok Sabha Speaker Somnath Chatterjee has been admitted to the Army Research and Referral Hospital after he complained of chest congestion and fatigue, officials said here Thursday.Chatterjee, 79, was admitted to the hospital late Wednesday night.
“He was admitted due to fatigue and his condition is absolutely fine. It was a routine thing,” private secretary of the speaker H.K. Kapoor told IANS.
“He has been admitted but there is nothing serious. No need to worry,” Kapoor added.
According to hospital sources, the speaker has mild chest congestion and his condition is stable.
