Sonia Gandhi to campaign in Jharkhand Tuesday

Ranchi, Dec 6 (IANS) Congress president Sonia Gandhi will Tuesday campaign in Jharkhand for party candidates contesting the fourth phase of assembly polls Dec 12.
“Sonia Gandhi will campaign in two places on Tuesday for the fourth phase of assembly polls. She will address public meetings at Ghatshila and Sisai constituencies,” said Shailesh Sinha, general secretary of the Jharkhand Congress unit.
Jharkhand Congress president Pradeep Kumar Balumchu is seeking re-election for the third time from Ghatshila.
On Friday, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi had campaigned at four places. The first two phases were held Nov 25 and Dec 2. The third phase of voting is scheduled Dec 8.
The five-phase polls end Dec 18 and votes will be counted Dec 23.
