Shinde meets Sushma over parliament impasse

New Delhi, Aug 23 (IANS) Home Minister Sushilkumar Shinde met BJP leader Sushma Swaraj Thursday in a bid to break the standoff in parliament over coal block allocation, government source said.
The meeting came after parliament was adjourned for the third day Thursday following the Bharatiya Janata Party’s demand for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s resignation over the coal saga.
The Shinde-Sushma Swaraj meeting took place in parliament.
