On Board Air India One, April 25 (IANS) The famed rapport between the two women presidents of India and Chile found expression once again when President Pratibha Patil said that it felt as if they knew “each other for so many years”. Patil, the first woman president of India, said her meetings with Chile’s President Michelle Bachelet, the first elected woman president of a Latin American country, were “cordial, friendly and lively”.

“Though we were meeting for the first time, we never felt it was so. We felt as if were knew each other for so many years. She also experienced the warmth. As she was leaving she told me that there was a feeling of sisterhood among us,” Patil told journalists on her way back from her tour of Latin America where she visited Brazil, Mexico and Chile.
