Nevada, June 9, (THAINDIAN NEWS) In all probability, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid just got the race for that he had been craving for a long time.
Reportedly, Ex-Reno Assembly member and a favorite of the Tea Party; Sharron Angle emerged to be the winner in the Republican primary of Tuesday owing to the support from all Nevada Republicans.
After her win at the primaries, Sharron Angle told all her supporters that in her opinion this is one campaign which shall take back America to its earlier days of glory. Sharron Angle proclaimed that she would be moving forward with the “Coalition of the Willing” which happens to be a 45 member group supporting her for the election.
On the other hand, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid and his advisers told the media that Nevada won’t be safe if it follows the ideals of Sharron Angle. In the wake of her winning, the Nevada Democratic Party also issued a special news release that was titled as “Sharron’s “Wacky” Angles: Dangerous Ideas Nevada Can’t Afford”.
UNR political scientist Eric Herzik is of the opinion that this is a stiff challenge for Sharron Angle. As a matter of fact, Sharron Angle has done her bid courting the conservative voters of the state both in the Assembly as well as in the state Senate.
Her policy measures have been vehemently criticized as she already eliminated all Social Security measures and even took off her name from United Nations. What remains hazy and unexplained at this point in time is how the national Republicans are going to accept Sharron Angle.
It’s speculated that the whole thing would turn out to be another Rand Paul affair which would be ill and odd for one and all.
