Sharon Bialek charges Herman Cain of inappropriate behavior in an interview
November 8th, 2011 - 11:08 pm ICT by Aishwarya BhattWashington, Nov 8 (THAINDIAN NEWS) GOP hopeful Herman Cain is facing a fresh charge of sexual harassment. Sharon Bialek has joined the list of women who have made various accusations against the former National Restaurant Association chief.
Bialek granted an interview to the media and revealed that she had a dinner with Cain in 1997. According to her, Cain groped her breast after the dinner. During a press conference, Bialek who is a former employee of the education foundation unit of NRA said Cain further placed his hands under her skirt and pushed it towards her genitals. According to her Cain stopped when she protested against his action.
Cain has been accused by two other women who claimed that the restaurant association gave them compensation when they reported similar incidents against him. He has denied both allegations despite admitting that he worked with the two women.
Looking straight into the cameras, Bialek threw a challenge to Cain to “come clean.”
Cain’s campaign team has issued a statement about the incidents. The statement said that, “All allegations of harassment against Mr. Cain are completely false. Mr. Cain has never harassed anyone.”
Cain is currently tied at the top of the latest GOP polls and the accusations seem to have done no damage to his efforts…yet.
