New Delhi, April 6 (IANS) Seven ministers were Sunday inducted into Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s council of ministers. Among those inducted at a swearing-in ceremony Sunday evening were young MPs Jyotiraditya Scindia and Jitin Prasada, former chief election commissioner M.S. Gill, Congress Puducherry chief V.N. Narayanswamy, industrialist-turned-politician Sanjay Bagrodia, and Rashtriya Janata Dal MP Raghunath Jha.
President Pratibha Patil administered the oath of office and secrecy at a function attended by the prime minister, his cabinet colleagues and United Progressive Alliance chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
