Seven IAS officers transferred in Bihar
January 20th, 2010 - 12:21 pm ICT by IANS ( Leave a comment )Patna, Jan 20 (IANS) The Bihar government transferred seven senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers and gave additional charge to four others, a state government official said Wednesday.
The officers were transferred late Tuesday. “It was a routine administrative reshuffle,” the official said.
Cabinet coordination department principal secretary Girish Shankar has been made principal secretary of the urban development and housing department. Afzal Amanullah has been made principal secretary of the cabinet coordination department.
R.K. Khandelwal was transferred to the revenue department as secretary while Rajesh Kumar was made joint secretary, agriculture.
