Party-wise list of candidates: Congress - 12, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) - 14, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) - 11, Communist Party of India (CPI) - 3, Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) - 1, Janata Dal-United - 3, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha - 14, Jharkhand Vikas Manch-Pragatisheel -3, Others and independents -191.
