Sarkozy to meet with President of Chad
October 15th, 2009 - 5:31 pm ICT by BNO NewsPARIS (BNO NEWS) — French President Nicolas Sarkozy will meet with President Idriss Deby of Chad this week, Sarkozy’s office said in a statement on Thursday.
A spokesman for Sarkozy’s office said the meeting will take place on Friday at 4.30 p.m. local time at the Elysee Palace, the official residence of Sarkozy.
The meeting will focus on bilateral relations between Chad and France and the current situation in the region.
