Boston, June 7 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sarah Palin sure has some diehard fans who will do anything for her, even rewrite history. During a Boston visit, Sarah Palin had mentioned Paul Revere’s midnight ride. Apparently she mixed up a few facts and said that ‘Paul had rode to warn off the British’.

Instead of going back on her statement and issuing a clarification on the matter, she choose to appear on Fox News and reinforced her statement. And now her fans are also helping her in this endeavor. They are going to the Wikipedia page of the event and rewriting the facts to make Sarah Palin’s statement undisputable.

However, Wikipedia officials are also weeding out the wrong history parts and they said that till now they have removed 15 erroneous content reports in the last couple of days.

Jay Walsh, who is a spokesman for the Wikimedia Foundation said that, “There’s a likelihood that they want [the page] to match up with statements that Sarah Palin made. That’s pretty uncommon, in terms of coming to Wikipedia and attempting to change history. The reality is that Wikipedia isn’t a place for original research. It needs to be a proven piece of information before it can be added in Wikipedia.”
