Sarah Palin thinking about running for the White House in 2012

sarah1 New York City, Feb 9 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The former Governor of Alaska - Sarah Palin has hinted again that she is considering making a bid for the White House in 2012. In a recent ‘Fox News Sunday’ interview she said that it would be absolutely absurd not to consider a Presidential bid in 2012.

She said that, “I would. I would if I believed that that is the right thing to do for our country and for the Palin family. Certainly, I would do so. I won’t close the door that perhaps could be open for me in the future. I don’t want any American to ever close the door in their personal or their professional lives and put themselves in a box and say, ‘Heck, yeah, I’m going to do that,’ or, ‘No way, I’m not going to do that,’ when we don’t know what the future holds.”

At a recent National Tea Party convention, she tried to mock the US President Barack Obama’s reliance on the teleprompter no end. At that party also, she tried to gauge the public mood and test the waters, and hinted about a bid at the White House in 2012.

It may be recalled that in 2008, she made an unsuccessful bid to run for the Vice Presidency as the Republican candidate, but she was a novice on such a big stage, and it showed. When she lost, then she licked her wounds, and maintained a low profile. However now she has become savvier, and her public appearances have increased. And at each and every public meeting, she hints or talks about her Presidential run for 2012.
